Welcome to Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories Funeral Home and Crematory in Waterloo. Our guiding philosophy is to provide the highest level of service to everyone at their time of loss.
Even if you’ve previously been involved in planning a funeral service, each experience is unique. Our funeral directors will provide you with the information necessary to help you make the best decisions when honoring a loved one. Our staff of funeral service assistants come from diverse backgrounds and experiences with a singular focus to bring compassion and professionalism to you during visitations and services.
In addition to “at-need” services, Parrott & Wood can help you gather information and make decisions “pre-need”. There are many advantages to pre-planning and pre-paying for your services. We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and share how you can make your final wishes known to your family and, possibly, save money in the process. In addition to private appointments, our staff offers educational opportunities throughout the communities we serve.
We have the area’s only funeral home operated crematory so your loved one never leaves our care. Our funeral home chapel can be configured to hold an intimate service, or expand to seat 150 guests comfortably. Our family room offers a convenient area for refreshments during visitation as well as a place for children to spend time, where they can still be close by, but in a more child friendly area.
