Tom Gross passed away on July 6, 2017at University Park Nursing Home in Des Moines, IA. He was born August 20, 1931 in Davenport, IA. He attended St. Ambrose Academy from 1946-1950. Tom served in the Korean war (1953-54) after enlisting in the U.S.M.C (1950-54). He was employed in the printing business for over 50 years. In his spare time, Tom enjoyed golfing, fishing, and trips to Canada and Las Vegas with his Urbandale Country Club buddies (which he was a member of for 37 years).
Tom was married to Nancy (Vasen) and had 3 children: Robert, Joseph and Mary. He is survived by his children; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and his loving friend of over 30 years, Patty Gross.
