Shirley Ann McBride

Shirley Ann was born Sept 30, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Fred Earnest Harsh and Norma (Hensyel) Harsh. Shirley being the oldest of three children grew up as a young child living on the south side of Des Moines with her parents. She attended Lincoln High School and the old, Open Bible Church which was located at 19th and Crocker in Des Moines. Her father Fred was a Veteran of World War II.
Shirley passed away suddenly at her Chesterfield home in Michigan on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. She worked for the Ford Motor Company for over 30 plus years. She was very artistic, creative and loved working with her hands and took pride in her craftsmanship.
Shirley is survived by her son Randy and his wife Julie Weller of Weston, WI. Two grandchildren, Landon of Milwaukee, WI, and Lauryn of Weston, WI. One sister Cheryl Rydel and her husband Boyd of Omaha, Nebraska. Her brother Ron and his wife Anna Marie Harsh of Ankeny, Iowa. Also, as a great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her son Charles (Mick) Weller and parents Fred and Norma Harsh.

Funeral Services will be held at Brooks SouthTown Chapel located at 7601 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, Iowa on Tuesday, May 29th at 10:30 AM, with visitation one hour prior to the service . Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens immediately following funeral services.
