Myron Wills Dinsdale, 75, of Traer went to be with the lord January 18, 2017 surrounded by his girls in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born to Marvin Wills and Ruth Elizabeth (Wolfgram) Dinsdale in Waterloo, Iowa on November 1st 1941. Myron attended School in Dinsdale, Iowa where he graduated Class of 1959. Upon graduation, Myron helped run the family farm and milked the families Ayrshire dairy cattle.

In 1974, Myron married Alecia Freese with whom he had three daughters, they later divorced. In the 80’s he was an active member of the Traer Chamber of Commerce and helped organize the Traer Czech Fest. Myron was an electrician before retiring in 2006. He was active with his girls after school activities and for many years and ran score boards for North Tama ball-games.
Myron enjoyed the following hobbies; his love for rabbits, selling Tupperware, playing Santa’s local helper and spending time with his furry grandkids. Over the years, he held various officer positions in multiple rabbit clubs and organizations, most recently Myron was the Secretary/Treasurer of the following clubs; American Sable Rabbit Society, Mississippi Valley Rabbit Breeders Association and Dubuque Area Rabbit Breeders Society. One of his greatest accomplishments in rabbits was winning Best of Breed at the American Rabbit Breeders Association, National Convention in 2011 with his home raised American Sable.

Myron is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Rodger Knoop, special grandson Jon Arends, several aunts and uncles and his oldest grandpuppy, Ollie. He is survived by his 3 daughters: Catherin Dinsdale of Waterloo, Iowa; Valerie (Kory) Steffes of The Colony, Texas; Gayle (Barry) Hansen of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters: Jane Knoop and Joan (Mike) Reuman both of Traer, and a brother Charles (Beverly) Dinsdale of Mountainair, New Mexico; two grandsons: Kelton Steffes and Jordan Arends and 6 furry grandkids which he loved unconditionally; Tiger, Graci, Dizzy, George, Bandit, and Zoe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
