September 3, 1964 - January 21, 2016

Lee Allen Metz was born on September 3, 1964, in Savanna, Illinois, the son of Ronald and Lynanne (Franzen) Metz. He grew up in Sabula, Iowa and graduted from Sabula High School. Lee was a handyman and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, cutting wood, cooking and spoiling his nieces and nephews. He was extremely caring and giving and would help anyone in need. Lee died of natural causes at the age of 51 on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Lee is survived by his mother, Lynanne of Clutier; a son, Bradley Allen Metz of Missouri; his fiancé, Kerri Dunkel of Clutier; three children: Nicole Dunkel-Jensen, Jessica Dunkel and Tucker Dunkel; two sisters, Vickie (Charles) Huffman of Clutier and Debra (Jerry) Fultner of Andrew; a brother, Samuel (Jodie) Metz of Wilton.
