Deborah Ann Zeien was born December 22, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri: the daughter of Clyde and Helen (Keeth) Wofford. She graduated from West High School in 1972. Deborah went on to receive a certificate to become a Certified Nurse’s Aide. On May 4, 1974, she was united in marriage to Michael Leroy Zeien. Deborah enjoyed playing cards and going out to see movies. She also loved going out to eat, but most of all she loved being with her family—especially her grandchildren.
Deborah passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Covenant Medical Center at the age of 63. She was preceded in death by her husband; her father; her maternal grandparents, Floyd and Ethel Keeth; a brother, Dennis Kressin; and a nephew, Brock Yeager. Deborah is survived by her mother, Helen Keeth of Evansdale, IA; son, Brian Zeien of Cedar Falls, IA; two daughters, Annette and Machelle Zeien of Waterloo, IA; brother, Robbie (Marilyn) Kressin of Woden, IA; three sisters: Darlene (Guy) Chamberlin of Waterloo, IA; Joanne (Don) Kolar of Independence, IA; Lisa (Roger) Yeager of Evansdale, IA; and eight grandchildren: Kane, Ethan, Jordyn, Zachary, Katlyn, Haley, Rainah, and Gage.
