He lived most of his life in Dysart and graduated from Dysart High School in 1957. David attended the University of Iowa and received an L.L.B. from UI School of Law in 1967. In 1964, David and Catheryn Rendleman Irvine were married. Poor health forced his retirement from the practice of law and farming.
There will be no visitation or service. The family will gather for a private interment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Dysart Ambulance Service, Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, Salvation Army or charities of your choice.
