Darrell Dean Rockwell passed away at his home surrounded by his children on Sunday November 13, 2016 at the age of 82 following a brave battle with cancer. Darrell is predeceased by his parents, Max and Evelyn Rockwell and twin sister, Donna Berry.

Darrell is lovingly remembered by his children, Darrell Jr. (Martha), Carol Peterson (Mark), David Rockwell; brother, Wayne Rockwell; along with seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and many friends.

Darrell was born in Estherville, Iowa June 12, 1934. He graduated from Kiester High School in Kiester, Minnesota in 1952. He enlisted in the Navy March 10, 1954. Married Mary Ann Peters, the mother of his three children, on April 27, 1956. Darrell worked construction for many years before working for the US Post Office as a letter carrier. He was baptized in 1968 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a member of the Union Park Congregation. His faith sustained him through the end of his life. He will be missed by a large group of family and friends.
