Daniel “Dan” Tutor, 50, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2016 while doing what he loved, kayaking and fishing, at Lake Red Rock in Otley, IA. A Celebration of Life service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, July 16 at Brooks South Town Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Danny was born April 4, 1966 in Des Moines, IA to Daniel and Elaine Tutor. He attended Lincoln High School from 1981-84. He retired in 1997 from his career in plumbing and he once worked as a RV lot manager and delivery driver.
His hobbies and interests included: cars, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, son and brother.
Dan will be missed by his wife, Paula; sons, Devin Tutor and Michael Dittmer; mother, Elaine; brother, Dana; his yellow lab, Goose; nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel; brother, Darrin; and his grandparents.
A visitation will be held 5-8 p.m., Friday, July 15 at Brooks South Town Chapel.
