Agnes Marie (Stock) Wheeler was born December 7, 1937 in Marble Rock, Iowa: the daughter of Charles and Kathrine (Brown) Stock. She graduated from Sheffield High School with the class of 1956. Agnes was united in marriage to Cletus Wheeler on November 11, 1957 in Harmony, Minnestoa; he preceded her in death on April 5, 2016. She was a homemaker and farm wife for the majority of her life. She did work at Home Shopping for one year and worked several seasons at a greenhouse.
Agnes passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics at the age of 78. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cletus; 3 brothers: Robert Stock, Bernard Stock and Leslie “Butch” Stock and 5 sisters: Evelyn Heater, Carole Humphrey, Javonne Bailey, Darlene Miller and Shirley Lienhard. Agnes is survived by 3 sons: Doug (Kathy) Wheeler of Dunkerton, Darrel (Keri) Wheeler of Elk Run Heights and Jeff (Michelle) Wheeler of Dunkerton; a daughter Lynda (Doug) Hintzman of Cedar Falls; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 3 on the way; a brother Delbert (Judi) Stock of Willits, California and 2 sisters: Sharon Davis of Waterloo and Diana Johnson of San Jose, California.
Agnes will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
