Cremation with Memorial Service

Memorial Service Options in Des Moines, Waterloo & Cedar Falls

The main difference with this option is that the Cremation is performed prior to funeral services being held. Therefore there would not be an open Casket that is sometimes considered traditional.

With the option of performing a cremation first, you may still request a Memorial Service at your place of worship or the funeral home with the focal point being the urn with photographs of your loved one. You may also have a Memorial Gathering prior to the ceremony or the evening before.

More information on the importance of a memorial service can be found at MeaningfulFunerals.com.
